About This CME Teaching Activity
This CME teaching activity discusses current topics in neuroimaging and the clinical management of neurological disease is the focus of this activity. Emphasis is placed on the role of imaging in disease and trauma affecting the central nervous system. A multi-specialty perspective on the use of imaging for neurological disorders and how imaging can influence patient management will also be discussed.
Target Audience
This CME teaching activity should be of interest for practicing radiologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons who interpret or rely on imaging studies for the evaluation of neurological disorders. 
Educational Objectives
At the completion of this DVD CME activity, subscribers should be able to: 
  • Evaluate intracranial tumors, vascular abnormalities and white matter disease.
  • Discuss the clinical and imaging manifestations of stroke and their implications on patient management.
  • Correlate MRI/MEG features of epilepsy and surgical intervention.
  • Assess patients with cranial neuropathy.
  • Recognize image characteristics of common neurovascular disease processes.
  • Utilize CTA and MRA in neuroradiology applications.
  • Describe the changing role of imaging in the management of neurological trauma.
  • Recognize iatrogenic disorders of the brain and spine.
